Treating Anxiety With Homeopathy
There are many roots to Anxiety, sometimes known about, sometimes not, and differing feelings attached to this word.

To me, it forms part of (but is not quite the same) as the modern catch-all of “Stress”. Anxiety can have apprehension about a future event and feelings of confusion and forgetfulness. Often with a slowing down in doing tasks and activities, Calcarea Carbonica could be a good remedy for you.
Another person might have insomnia and palpitations, oversensitivity to external impressions (such as noise, smells), yawning and sighing a lot and a loss of appetite, and this resonates with the Ignatia state. Then, there is an anxiety state in which you become irritable, hating contradiction and a fear of failure – and Lycopodium could be a good fit for you.
Or perhaps a slightly different aspect is an Anxiety before events, with an exhaustion due to making an effort, feeling nervous and chilly – this remedy could be Silica. Other stronger anxiety feelings which could be called “fear” – have other remedies, such as Argentum Nitricum: useful, for example, before a visit to a dreaded dentist appointment. It is well-known for its strong fear of heights, or even of looking up at a tall building.
Arnica is well known for treating acute shocks and accidents, as is Bach Rescue Remedy. Other states such as feelings of panic, loss of sleep, faintness and difficulties breathing will flag up other remedies which match that state. Arsenicum Album is for acute dread and restlessness. Homeopathy aims to treat the underlying cause, and which is why further information is needed for long-term conditions.
